Local Vietnamese have 3 type of weed to enjoy: Imported kush, VN grown kush and Cambodian strain. Here are the details:

#1: IMPORTED KUSH
- This is the best quality weed in Vietnam. Imported from US or Canada.
- Price is highest among those 3 types. Around 500.000 - 700.000 VND (~ 25 - 35$) per gram

#2: VN GROWN KUSH
- Yeah this is good kush was grown in Vietnam by Vietnamese farmer. But because of lacking high-skill experience so the quality, smell and taste is not as good as imported kush. And quality is various and much depends on the skill of the farmer.
- Price is quite affordable, around 300.000 - 400.000 VND (~ 15 - 20 $) per gram

#3: CAMBODIAN WEED
- This Cambodian strain is grown in Cambodia farms and brought to Vietnam through the Vietnam - Cambodia border.
- Quality is unstable (very bad quality in rainy season). Stinky smell, moldy and have a lot of seeds.
- Price around 300.000 for 10g.
- In my opinion, this is not a good choice for travelers, who are enjoying a trip to the beautiful country Vietnam

Cambodian strain: The most common weed in Vietnam

Called "Cỏ Cam" in Vietnamese, this Cambodian strain may come from Cambodia but is grown in Vietnam. With average quality and affordable price, Cambodian is the most common local weed in Vietnam. It's hard to find information about Cambodian strain on the web, because it is just a local Vietnamese weed. In my opinion, Cambodian strain has some effects just like Indica, with THC level may around 7 - 8%. This local Vietnamese weed is good stuff to chill at night. Smell is the most difference between Cambodian strain and high end US strains. With US strains you will have many interesting smell and taste, but Cambodian strain don't have. It sometimes taste a little bitter, and smell like burning grass. With average quality and affordable price, Cambodian strain is the most common weed for local Vietnamese. This type of weed you can buy in Saigon around 50.000 dong per gram, usually come in 5 or 6 grams pack.
